1 x 3262 . This is a listing for original design XK120 & XK140 Taper Bolt for the Clutch lever drop arm and also the actuator fork, to suit the earlier model's matching, taper drilled, bellhousing cross shaft. The head is drilled to be secured with locking wire. For the matching taper hole shaft, SEE : 3248
Our part number 3262, relates to the original part number C568.
x 2 per car are required, one for the drop arm (SEE 3256 ) the other for the clutch actuator fork ( SEE 3352 )
They have been made for us here in Coventry to the very highest standards, copied from our original samples.
NOTE: These taper pins are known for sheering and the use of the late XK150 Design fixing bolt and re-drilling of the taper holes, to parallel in the shaft to suit is considered to be a good upgrade, SEE : 3265
FURTHER NOTE: The very early spec XK120 used drop arm and actuators with a finer thread which are not avilable or practical, so securing threads will require drilling out to the coarser thread used on these pins.
